2.4 Collaborator

Educators dedicate time to collaborate with both colleagues and students to improve practice, discover and share resources and ideas, and solve problems.

All of us need help at some point. What is the saying? ”No man is an island” (John Donne)? I think that is a great way to say that we all need community. We need to be able to interact, learn from one another, to be able to collaborate, and share experiences. This is just basic wisdom. I would much rather have someone tell me, ”I’ve tried it that way, and here is what happened,” versus me taking the time to do something and it fails completely. I know this may not always be the case but again, this is why collaboration is key. We offer advice and help to one another.
