…educators and students to critically examine the sources of online media and identify underlying assumptions.

As the internet continues to grow and grow, not unlike our universe, it continues to be more and more important that students, teachers, and really everyone, take the time to make sure the media they obtain is credible, especially in an academic setting. The more papers students write, and use online sources, the more important it is to make sure those sources are credible. Additionally, what I think can be challenging, is being able to look for any “below the surface” biases from the author which may influence their work. In a post titled, “Enthrall Me With Your Acumen,” I talk about how important it is to make sure the sources people choose are right and true.
